What can you do
for students?
If you're a student, we can help you to manage your finances
independently.
A Savings Account works just like a bank account but to open one you
simple need proof of your ID and address. Your Education Maintenance
Allowance, student loans and grants can then be paid to you direct.
We'll send you regular statements and help you build up a credit history
and we'll give you a membership card which can be used as proof of ID
just about anywhere.
You can even get a debit card to make purchases or time-lock an account
to help you save for something special.
The money you save will be used to make affordable loans to people who
really need them and in return, we'll give you a dividend every year
from any surplus we make.
We're even covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, so
your money is always 100% safe.
